John Durham, together with two friends, June Vasey and Kimberley Bills, is going to Belarus  from the 15th until the 28th of June.

This is a follow up from the very successful trip in May 2007. Details of the 2007 Trip can be found here (to be added)

The travel planning is going very well and we have received our visa's . We will be leaving on Sunday 15th June, to cross the channel by ferry and driving through Holland and Germany into Poland on Monday 16th. After an overnight stop we will continue on through Poland and reach our destination, Надежда (Nadezhda = Hope) Childrens Camp,  late on Tuesday17th June.

The Symbol of Nadezhda Childrens Camp is a baby stork in a nest on the     top of a nuclear reactor  -  the sign of a new hope after the Chernobyl disaster.

We have a van load of;  clothes for children and adults;  toys and games;  quilts and blankets;  gardening equipment and tools; woodworking machinery;  and other gifts which we have been collecting and have been very generously donated by our many friends.
